Special Topics: Roads to Appalachia through Scotland and Ireland Study Abroad

Agenda:

    This course will include two units.  The first is a two-day pre-travel seminar/institute on June 23-24, 2005 to be held in Fairmont (FSU and Prickett’s Fort). Housing for the GEAR-UP teachers in the institute is available at FSU. The travel abroad unit, sponsored by the West Virginia Folklife Center at Fairmont State, will run from July 4-18 and will take place in various parts of Scotland and Ireland.  Agendas for both units are attached.
     A one day follow-up session will be held later in the summer.
